Convention signature between the ESP and the Fondation Trade Point Senegal: enhance the employability of the Polytechnique and develop offers of training adapted to the labour market.

Under the leadership of the Ministry of Commerce, the informal sector, consumption, and the Promotion of products local SMEs represented by the Director of Cabinet of the Minister Mr Augustin Yakhar FAYE, both structures conducted signature Thursday, May 19 in the premises of the Fondation Trade Point Senegal. MOR Talla ABHINAV administrator of GST and Thierno Amadou GAYE laid a new milestone for the strengthening of University-business relations.

GST is a public utility Foundation under the supervision of the Ministry of trade and economy and finance. GST is a platform of services using internet technology, and a vehicle for dissemination of economic and commercial information.

This partnership took on the initiative of the computer engineering department.

The objectives of the partnership

• Strengthen relations between the Trade and the ESP to promote research and development through practical and concrete applications useful for the development of industrial and commercial;
• Capacity-building techniques and managerial skills, and promoting cooperation for the joint development of projects engineering and infrastructure base;
• Promote partnership with the ESP under the recruitment policy of the GST and willingness to use the locally trained human resources to support its development;
• Strengthening the potential of expertise of the two parties in order to achieve the various projects and programmes;
• Contribute towards the sustainable development of Africa, through the pooling of resources and expertise of the parties and their willingness to meet together the challenges of development;

Computer science from Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique and Trade Point Senegal Engineering Department offers the following courses: Microsoft, Cisco, Google, Linux Professional Institute.

Sous la houlette du Ministère du Commerce, du Secteur Informel, de la Consommation, de la Promotion des Produits Locaux et des PME représenté par le Directeur de Cabinet du ministre Monsieur Augustin Yakhar FAYE, les deux structures ont procédé à la signature le Jeudi 19 Mai dans les locaux de la Fondation Trade Point Sénégal. Mor Talla DIOUCK administrateur de TPS et Thierno Amadou GAYE ont posé un nouveau jalon pour le renforcement des relations Universités-Entreprises.

TPS est une fondation d'utilité publique placé sous la tutelle du Ministère du commerce et ainsi que celui de l'économie et des finances. TPS se veut une plateforme de services utilisant les technologies internet, et un véhicule de diffusion des informations économiques et commerciales.

Ce partenariat a été décroché sur initiative du Département Génie Informatique.

Les Objectifs du partenariat

• Renforcer les relations entre le Trade Point et l'ESP en vue de promouvoir la Recherche et le Développement par des applications pratiques et concrètes, utiles au développement industriel et commercial;
• Renforcer les capacités techniques et managériales, et promouvoir la collaboration pour le développement conjoint de projets d'ingénierie et d'infrastructures de pointe ;
• Promouvoir le partenariat avec l'ESP dans le cadre de la politique de recrutement du TPS et de sa volonté de recourir aux ressources humaines formées localement pour soutenir son développement;
• Renforcer le potentiel d'expertise des deux parties afin de réaliser efficacement les différents projets et programmes respectifs ;
• Contribuer ensemble au développement durable de l'Afrique, grâce à la mise en commun des ressources et des expertises des parties et à leur volonté affichée de relever ensemble les défis du développement ;
